This Privacy Policy describes how the AI Leadership Lab Social Media Manager ("the Application") handles information. The Application is a private, single-operator tool operated by AI Leadership Lab and used solely by its owner to manage that owner's own social media and advertising accounts. It is not a public service, and it does not collect, process, or store personal data belonging to any third party or member of the public.
The Application is operated by AI Leadership Lab. For any questions about this policy or about data handling, contact: ross@aileadershiplab.com.
The Application connects to Meta Platforms services (Facebook, Instagram, and the Meta Marketing/Ads APIs) on behalf of its owner, using credentials the owner has explicitly authorized. It acts only on assets the owner already controls — Pages, Instagram Business accounts, and ad accounts where the owner is an administrator or owner.
When operated by its owner, the Application may access, via Meta's official APIs:
The Application accesses this information only to carry out actions the owner directs, such as publishing posts, managing advertising campaigns, and reviewing the owner's own performance metrics.
Information accessed through the Application is used exclusively to operate the owner's own accounts at the owner's direction. The Application does not use this information for advertising profiling of third parties, resale, analytics aggregation, or any purpose beyond the owner's direct management of their own accounts.
The Application runs locally under the owner's control. Access tokens and credentials are stored locally on the owner's own device and may be encrypted at rest. The Application does not operate a shared backend, does not transmit account data to AI Leadership Lab servers, and sends data only to Meta's official API endpoints as required to perform the owner's requested actions.
The Application does not sell, rent, or share accessed information with any third party. Data is exchanged only between the owner's device and Meta's APIs. No advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers receive data from the Application.
Because the Application stores only the owner's own access tokens locally, the owner can revoke access and delete all stored data at any time by removing the locally stored credential files and/or revoking the Application's access from within their Meta account settings (Business Settings → connected apps). No further data is retained once access is revoked and local credentials are deleted.
The Application is an internal administrative tool and is not directed to, and is not used by, children. It does not knowingly collect any information relating to children.
Use of data obtained through Meta's APIs is subject to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. The Application uses Meta data only in ways consistent with those terms and only to operate the owner's own assets.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
